In July, Taiga Company's employees will be visiting the Town of Canmore in Alberta, Canada. The Town of Canmore, known for its commitment to sustainability and its connection with the Natural Step, is also this year's home for the 24 Hour World Championships for mountain bike racing. Proudly, Taiga Company will be represented in the 24 hour Solo Female category. As sustainability consultants, we couldn't be happier to participate in the event and appreciate its connection to business sustainability. The event itself is aligned with 1% for the Planet. 1% For the Planet is a growing global movement of 1207 companies that donate 1% of their sales to a network of 1776 environmental organizations worldwide.
Doing our part for sustainable business, Taiga Company, will proudly display our newly purchased sustainable promotional items. Being an environmental business, business sustainability is in the core of our business as well as in the execution of our business.
Look for us wearing Taiga company cycling kits purchased from Voler Cycling Apparel. Voler is committed to business sustainability and furthering sustainability concepts into their business through their commitment to reducing their impact on the environment.
The Taiga tent will display the Taiga Company banner purchased from GreenBanners. They are the original green banner / signage company and do not use any form of vinyl materials or toxic solvent inks. They print high resolution, full-color photo-quality graphics and text on a wide variety of materials using ecologically-sound renewable, recycled / recyclable and biodegradable materials.
When we're not riding our bikes, we'll be sporting our new organic cotton T-shirts purchased from American Canvas Printing. They specialize in offering screen printing sweatshop free and eco friendly apparel and accessories. Our promotional t-shirts are part of the earth Positive line which is manufactured in a plant run on wind and solar power.
In our professional consulting to small businesses, we are committed to making the business case that integrating sustainability concepts into your business does not have mean you have to compromise in quality or price. All of our promotional items are cost competitive, easier on the environment and purchased as part of our sustainability plan to support other like minded sustainable businesses.
We're looking forward to taking on the world at the 24 Hour World Championships…sustainably!
