In a groundbreaking cross-industry study of the “green” attitudes and behaviors of consumers across the country, the innovative study offers insights in understanding the complexity driving eco awareness in consumer behavior.Naturally, as a sustainability consultant, I find this study a jewel of information. According to the study, "Consumers care about their world, not the world". Additionally, the study's finding suggests connecting to consumers by focusing on what is close and practical.
Interestingly enough, in working with clients to build business sustainability and bring eco awareness into sustainable lifestyles, I can relate to the close and practical application.
