Eco Friendly Golf

In some parts of the country, it may be too cold, but here in the South, we've had some pretty amazing days to play golf.  Golf is a great game offering opportunities for us as aspiring athletes as well as business socializing.

A small business recourse commonly used to cultivate client relationships is a day of golf.  It affords generous time to casually discuss business and explore ideas cut short in a business meetings time.

One way to extend business sustainability it to bring eco awareness to your golf outings.  Although the ideas appear to be stretched, stay with me.  As sustainability consultants working with small businesses, there are some ways to "green" your golf and provide business benefits.

Being that promotional events and conferences include golf an event attraction, consider opting to walk the course instead of using a cart.  Or, if that's not an option, inquire if electric powered carts which reduce both air and noise pollution are available.

Better yet, consider hosting your own company golf tournament featuring eco awareness with environmentally friendly promotional items and benefiting a charity within your community.  The recognition of the event highlights your commitment to sustainable business as well as differentiates you from the competition.
