The recent growth in consumer eco awareness has spawned a craze for green products and gadgets.  The availability to a growing number of green options can sometimes be a little overwhelming.  In addition, product information and reviews can vary. 

As a personal consultant, I spend considerable time researching products and services.  I have come to the conclusion that there is almost always an alternative option available for individuals desiring to live a more sustainable lifestyle or simply looking to replace traditional products with something more sustainable. 

The question is: where can you go to get the information, reviews and advice needed to make a more informed decision?

1.    One of my favorite techno sites is Gizmodo, a blog with the sole purpose of writing about tech and gadgets as timely and entertainingly as possible.

2.    Created by National Geographic, The Green Guide offers options on household purchases.

3.    For more specific sustainability concept advice, take a look at This Is Green, a website who’s goal is to provide you with the tools necessary to make informed choices.

4.    Looking for product comparison, Compare the Brands provides information to make comparison shopping for products and services quick and easy

5.    Searching for efficiency, try MetaEfficient. They focus on anything that stands out as particularly efficient.

As a sustainability consultant, I encourage clients to follow sustainability concepts that are inspiring and to become informed about their options.  The road to a sustainable lifestyle can be as simple as becoming more aware of the options available.
